In 2024, Generative AI entered the practical implementation phase, driving a global expansion in data center construction to support its underlying computing resources. Furthermore, as these initiatives become increasingly critical for strengthening economic security and data sovereignty across nations and regions, establishing highly reliable data centers equipped with robust security measures has become an urgent societal imperative.
Founded in June 2023, Quantum Mesh Inc. develops and operates portable edge data centers that deliver secure data protection and high-performance computation. We provide environments where massive volumes of circulating information assets are safeguarded with world-class security and efficiently utilized through advanced computing capabilities. Additionally, we propose future smart city models powered by AI and IoT originating from data centers, aiming to achieve "True DX" (Digital Transformation).
Driven by recent rapid technological innovation and advancing social implementation, the demand for data centers that securely manage and process data is surging alongside the expanding adoption of Generative AI and IoT applications. In addition to high processing power and security, Quantum Mesh leads the industry in achieving significant power reductions and space efficiency compared to traditional air-cooled systems by adopting our proprietary liquid immersion cooling technology. Through this, we promote data center deployment within Japan's constrained land area while enabling "local production and local consumption of energy" and "regional revitalization" via digital inbound attraction (※) through the efficient utilization and operation of power generated from diverse energy sources, including Japan's unique natural resources.
